uhhhh I am not positive on what exactly it is. I have a rock (about 10 inch circle) that is covered in them. I can count about 7 of them on it. They are about as big around as a baseball when opened. Here is another pic of them....please excuse the reflection of the camera.
I was planning on getting rid of them. I hear having them in a reef tank is bad? |

I can't say if they are bad or good but they ARE some pretty cool and interesting corals. Nice picture.

So i have found out what they are! Those are Hairy Mushrooms. Seems like they are a hardy good mushroom to have. Go for good money people say allthough i have no idea
