Help. is my green bubble anemone dying?

I need some help, 30 minutes ago he looked full and fine. Now he is all shriveled up and has this black/brown looking stuff coming out of him. What's going on? Is this the way they discharge their waste? is he okay? In the photo he actually looks better then in the tank.

Prolly taking a dump. It'll be fine. Just constipated, I guess.

Do they normally deflate like that?

He looks like he's filling back up. I might have pushed the panic botton a bit too soon. But, is that level of deflation normal?

Don't panic too soon. I did and pulled the anemone out of the tank (I was scared because I knew an anemone would poison the tank if it died) because I didn't get any replies on here. Later I found out I did panic too soon and this was normal behavior. Perfect example of why I should have done tons of research before putting something in my tank.

They regularly deflate to expel waste and balance their internal water chemistry. I would only worry if he doesn't re-inflate after a good amount of time (10-12 hours or so).
