do coral banded shrimp really cause problems?
I have heard that these shrimp will attack other invertabrates but is that normal or only when not fed enough to eat?

I had one that was so mean that he would attack me whenever i put my hands in the tank. He even drew blood once.
He would harass my Yellow Tang. They will also kill any other inverts you have.

Thanks, G25

I haven't had any problems with a coral banded, he is in with 2 pepermints and a blood shrimp, along with all kinds of other inverts. Yah, he will try to take over any spot he wants in the tank; but I have never had a problem with him attacking other things in the tank or myself. I think that as long as you have enough space in the rock work for all your shrimp to have enough room, you will be ok. GL.

I've not had any problem with mine. I have a mated pair, and they pretty much keep to themselves. I've heard they may attack and kill other shrimp, but they have totaly ignored my fish, crabs, snails and corals.
