what light for AC 70 Fuge?
Ok, i've done hob fuges before, but i always just used a cheapo clamp lamp on them. Its always been affective and the cheato has always grown out of control (i've just used those coralife mini pc 50/50 bulbs that screw into any clamp lamp) like it should, but it has always just looked crappy. But now i just bought an ac 70 yesterday and it will be a fuge for a 30g tank, but the light has to look nice. Most of my diy projects work perfectly fine, they just look like poo lol.
My question is...is there a light fixture that will fit on an aquaclear 70 without having to use just a clamp lamp? I'm thinking something like a regular pc fixture, but a really small one, and have legs on it that rest on the side of the filter.. Does such thing exist? Thanks |

9" coralife pc works great on my ac110.....I grow all kinds of stuff on the lr rubble including cheato and caulerpa...it runs opposite main tank light.

but does that one fit the ac 70 do you know? Thats my main concern right now...i'm just not sure if any of these will fit the ac 70. I think its 8.5 inches side to side...does that 9" one have legs that would fit 8.5? and how much was it?

The 9" Coralife fixtures are not compatible with the mounting legs. If you are looking for a finished product, this is probably your best bet considering the size. You may have to fabricate mounts or just rest it on top of the AC70
