3g pico...are they any good?
i was at the lfs today, and they had those 3g pico tanks for like 35 bucks. I cant remember the brand name but it was the one that is most common...open top with just that little 9w pc light in it.
I was wondering....how many of you have that tank, and how do you like it? The filter that it comes with would be useless of course (unless you run it for carbon only) for filtration, so it would just be used for flow, but does it really put out enough flow even? The thing looked pretty dang tiny to me. But what could you grow w/that light? They say "great for zoas and shrooms" on the box, but i tend to not believe half the stuff that companies say now. Last....if anyone has a pic of their picos, please post I'd like to see what all can be done with them. Oh, and there wouldnt be any tiny gobies that would be ok in them would there? |

I would think a neon goby would be fine. www.nano-reef.com, has lots of people with these tanks in the pico section.
