StarFish

Will a starfish go after mushrooms?

depends on what starfish, you need to be more informative on what species/type, hope this helps...post a pik or give the name of the one that your reffering to...

Could maybe be a chocolate chip star. If it is, you need to get it out of your tank. They eat corals.

Current Tank Info: 30 gal. super softy tank with 55 lbs. of live rock. 150 watt MH with 14k bulb. 6 gal. hang on fuge with lots of chaeto. Many soft corals. mushrooms, leathers, xenia, anthia, clove polyps, rainbow rics, red zoo's, GSP and BTA's. 225 in progress.

I better keep him fed better. Or its sushi time.

That star is definitely not safe in a reef.
