Aptasia
Has anyone ever had any luck using the hot water method of controlling if not removing the aptasia?

I tried it but never really killed them. I use pickling lime paste on mine. It seem to work pretty good.

I used hydrogen proxide to kill my big ones off. You have to inject it right into the stock of it. Kinda fun to watch them burst.
Didn't notice a big change in any tests while doing this either. ~~Ange

Never tried the hot water trick, but have used Joe's Juice and found that my kalk paste works just as well (if not better) and is much less money too.

Got a peppermint shrimp to eat mine. Cleared it right up and it hasn't come back!
