need a couple small things..
I just recently got one of those small 3g picotopes and i need to find a heater for it. Went to the stores and the cheapest 25w heater they had was 25 or something...i'm thinking thats a bit high..idk. But does anyone have a small 25w heater laying around?
And same with a digital thermometer. I dont like using those cheap stick on ones Last thing i'm looking for is some live sand and a small chunk of chaeto to put in an AC 70 fuge. Let me know if ya got any of that |

I have an extra digital term if you need it. It's from coralife. It came without the suction cup so they sent me another one. A little double sided sticky tape and you're rollin. Or, if you want to go high-tech, a little velcro tab !
Since it didn't cost me anything and company said not to send it back, I could let it go for the low, low price of FREE.

I think I know where you can get some macro. Unless it all dissapeared out of my sump you can get a bit from me.
I will follow suit with newtank and give it up for the really low price of free as well

cool thanks guys jp i know where you're at (kinda...i remember the area but not exactly where). I'm free after like 3:30 today i think if thats ok w/you, or any other day i think before like 1:30 or so..
newtank...where are you at? And the same...if possible, would an time after 3:30 be good for you today? One last thing that i just thought of to add to that list...does anyone have any dry base rock/dead live rock/whatever you wanna call it? My tank has enough lr to do all the filtration, but some additional rock would make it look nicer i think. I spose that a couple bigger pieces would be nice but any is good really. I would just prefer to not get "lace" rock, as i've already got a bunch of that and dont like the stuff. And now that i think about the lace....does anyone want like 25-30 lbs of lace rock? Its just been sitting in my 55 since the thing broke a seam so i dont really have any use for it and i just dont like the stuff is all. Trade for it would be cool but not required. I just would like to give it to someone who would actually put it to use rather than let it sit in 2 inches of wet sand

I don't know. My friends dad gave it to me when I crashed my truck in January. I never bother to pay attention if you want the truth.

Sir Dude, sorry, got tied up with a client.
Im way over on the north side. No sane person in their right mind would even attempt to get over here during after-work traffic. I will be hitting AA and AYR either tomorrow or Friday on my never ending quest for a six line. That should be a whole heck of a lot closer. Maybe we can get together there? PM me your schedule if you can.

alex - yes, i can hold you 10 lbs if you want. I'm not sure how much each piece ways, but there is one that is a couple that are 10 pounders i think...cant remember. You'll see em. Actually if you want i can show you a pic of when i had just set up my old tank and had only lace rock in it (the first day basically lol). That will give you an idea of what it looks like.
newtank...yes i was just at aquarium arts today and they had a sixline lol. I was too lookign for one and got one at ATR last week (or maybe before..cant remember anything anymore..) for the same price as the ones at AA. Actually it was 28 or something but they had a sale that weekend. i'll send you my schedule (which i just found out that it changed a bit..)

lol maybe you wanna call them alex. I saw a stand there today and it was the same as my stand for my 40 breeder..so it may have been yours. They never called me for my stuff in the past, even tho i've told them to call for like 5 different things...oh well
oh, and i need to update my list. So far i've got the chaeto (thanks jp), i got the thermometer lined up for tomorrow, and i went to walmart and they did have a small heater there (thanks for the idea rljlll). So far tho i'm not so sure the thing is working...the water felt exactly the same to me (which was freezing...must have been like 40 degree water...i hope thats not bad for live rock??? I mean theres rock out in the ocean at 40 degrees or lower right?) So basically i'm just looking for some dry base rock or if you have too much live rock i guess i'd take that too, altho i'd rather just get base rock (cheaper is the main reason). And alex, when would you want that piece of rock(s)

And I was their last week and they had one, but they said they where holding it for someone else as a present. And that they would have some in on tuesday and a small chance of thursday (tomorrow) so I will just go in tomorrow. I like looking anyway! |

i'm at stapley and the 60. In mesa but i guess right on the border cuz there is a gilbert elementary school just a couple blocks away from me.
I'm in no hurry to get rid of it tho so dont feel like you have to come and get it right away. Will you be using it in your 40? If you are, you can have all of it (30 lbs worth about) if you want. That should be a good amount to build stuff with if that is what you're going for, and will eventually turn live again

tomorrow i'm meeting newtanksmell at aquarium arts at 11, and i gotta be at work at 12, so if you wanna meet us there that'd be fine, or if you cant make it out there, just lmk...it would have to be before that if you cant make it to AA, or after 6 sometime. Either way is fine with me. Where are you at?
