RO emergency

I replaced my filters today and my RO stage is leaking real bad from where the top screws on almost like its not letting water through, any ideas, I need to get my reservior filled back up.

are you sure you put the membrane in the right direction?

i ment are the hoses connected on the right ends. there should be a flow arrow on the housing. sorry

Where is it leaking from? If its an o ring dab a light coating of vasaline or cooking oil on your finger and wipe it around the o ring to help it seal. If its from a 1/4 speed fitting pull the tubing out, re cut it squarely and re insert it. Other than that I don't know.

its leaking from the circled point, I dont even think that part has a o-ring but ill check.

Right. Check it for dirt and cuts. Also make sure it's not pinched somehow.

you guys were right looks like it was an o-ring I dropped inthe sink when replacing the filters!! /bonk

We don't recommend using vasoline on rubber orings. Instead, use silicone grease available at your local hardware or pool supply store.

Food grade Silicone Grease is all I ever use but most people don't have any around. I just happen to have it for my homebrewing equipment and keg o rings!
