need advice
ok so since i have been gone away from home a while my wife went and she bought a beta yeah i know its a freshie haha but anyways could i grow mangrove in the beta tank and also what benifits the mangrove and also cant you use the mangrove for reef keeping in some way?

Mangroves would probably die, in a betta tank. Mangroves have a few different species, some being full saltwater, some being brackish. I don't think either form would thrive, in freshwater. It would either die, quickly, or slowly die. As it decayed, it would pollute the betta's water.
In a saltwater tank, Mangroves can be useful for consuming nitrates, used just as you would a Macro Algae. |
