I'm sure everyone has been busy lately. I've taken a few vacations and been busy at work. As you know the city bought a new building for special ops and C.I.D., so I've been busy helping get them setup at their new offices and getting them on our network. Now that school has started, I've got some sports and other events for the kids coming up.

What I'm getting at is, if anyone wants to put in some time to help promote the club, then I gladly welcome it. We currently have a meeting and an event scheduled, but we need to plan out the rest of the year. Ideas and help are always appreciated. I'll get our website updated soon and get some info sent out to everyone. We'll see who all is still in the reefing hobby. I know we have lost some due to a bad economy.

I believe I have my vacations out of the way now. I just recently went to Cave Country in north Florida. I found a very good instructor there and got to try out different tech configurations. I learned from it and did my first cavern dive. I am now one certification away from Trimix.

Now that is out of the way, I can spend a little time on the club. I'll contact David and send out an e-mail update out to all members soon. We'll see how many are ready to have a meeting and give a few prizes away. I just got an e-mail from a vendor that wants to meet us in person or give a webinar on LED reef lighting. I have had a few others contact us as well, so we will see how it goes.
